Violence Prevention

Context

Goal : Preventing any type of violence against children and any Gender-Based Violence, ensure systematic linkages with clinical services and establish strong referral system to help the victims with post-violence care.

Activities : FXB Rwanda engages in violence prevention by reaching out the community with awareness campaigns on violence prevention.

FXB Rwanda also implements evidence based intervention against violence. The intervention like Start Awareness Support Action (SASA), and Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) among others are implemented with this intention.

FXB Rwanda conducts different campaign awareness around Gender Based Violence collaborating with different stakeholders including districts of operations and other stakeholders like football clubs to reach more number.

Impact

FXB has reached 477,322 people were supported with trainings around the violence prevention in its different aspects include preventing the gender based one as well as the one against children.
