Sustaining program impacts requires Strengthened partnership and collaboration among partners who sometimes plan to come together for co-creation and adaptation. From 24 October to 5 November 2022, the team of staff from FXB International, FXB France, FXB Burundi, and ADA/ through DGD headed by the Director General of FXB International came to visit FXB Rwanda to extend co-creation and partnership. The visit was a great opportunity to extend partnership and collaboration with key identified partners and to meet and discuss with community-served FXB Rwanda Programs to witness how the latter changed their lives.
During the visit, the team conducted different insightful activities mainly home and field visits for targeted beneficiaries under different projects and meeting the potential partners to discuss new opportunities for joint collaboration.
Field and home visit
On 24 October 2022, at FXB Rwanda Coordination office, the team members met to plan for the VillageFXB project Musambira. On the same date, the Director General of FXB International, Mrs. Christine, and Auto-Développement Afrique (ADA) Director Mrs. Nathalie accompanied by FXB Rwanda Executive Director visited the community served under FXBVillage Musambira project and they encouraged them to work hard with determination for their self-resilience.
On 26 October 2022, FXB International Director General visited the National Industrial Research and Development Agency (NIRDA) Centre to assess the readiness for the joint implementation of the project between the agency and FXB Rwanda to cultivate medicinal plants and to transform them into certified Phytomedicines and herbal tea.
Charity work
During her days in Rwanda, FXB International Director General accompanied by FXB Rwanda Legal Representative and Executive Director and Muhanga District Vice Mayor in charge of economic affairs participated in charity work by donating ambulance and funeral vehicles to Kabgayi hospital. The donation was from ‘Hôpital du Valais & corbillard par les Pompes funèbres’.
Since founded, FXB Rwanda collaborate with FXB international and other FXB organs across the world to achieve the common mission of addressing the root causes of poverty as a means of securing children’s rights to survive, grow and develop. FXB Rwanda is grateful for the visit and is very interested in similar activities intending to expand partnership and collaboration as well as networking with new partners to reach and impact the lives of the most vulnerable children through empowering their families.
